For Parents

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will I have access to my child's content, conversations, and progress?
Yes. We encourage all parents to get involved in this learning for their child. We want all parents to have high visibility of the content and gaming interactions. We are motivated to have a high transparency for the parent while ensuring the student's learning and online safety.
  • Can I contact the instructor?
Yes. The best way to contact the instructor is through the website contact form. Please provide all relevant details so your question can be answered in a timely manner.
  • Does my child have to pursue a career in STEM in order to participate?
Not at all! We would love for every child to pursue some sort of career in STEM but realistically, it might not be for everyone. We want to foster an environment where the student can find a path to a career, even if it's not STEM.
  • What will my child gain from this program?
We've spent a lot of effort into creating a program for students to be able to see what they learn in class in real-world applications. Your child will not only learn real-world scenarios in different industries, but they will also create a portfolio that they can graduate with and take with them to any university or business. If your child chooses a STEM career, we will help them take the right steps to the career of their choosing. We will also partner them with different industries, universities, and businesses to ensure they have what they need to succeed.
  • Does my child have to participate in the gaming portion of the program?
No. We will not enforce any gaming activities on any student. They can willfully not participate in any gaming.
  • Is there a free trial?
Yes. We provide a free trial to our curriculum. It will allow for limited access to the program. Please sign up to find out more.
  • How will progress be measured?
Progress of the curriculum will be measured with the completion of tasks, quizzes, and participation in online events. It will be up to the student to dedicate time and commit to the curriculum.
